Reversing Prop for Skymasters - Now $26,795
We're pleased to announce something genuinely new for the Skymaster community! For the first time, we have approval to install a reversing MT propeller on the rear engine of the Skymaster.
If you've flown a Skymaster, you know these aircraft need considerable runway to slow down after landing at 70–80 mph. With a reversing prop, once you touch down and decelerate to around 50 knots, you can engage reverse thrust to bring the aircraft to a stop far more efficiently - exiting at the next taxiway rather than rolling to the end of the runway.
The practical benefits are significant:
Reduced brake and tire wear,
Lower fuel burn on long ground rolls
The ability to operate safely from shorter runways that weren't previously an option
