LOW OIL PRESSURE WARNING
Avoid surprises and expensive repairs with a low oil pressure warning system
This warning system consists of a sensor switch that completes the electrical circuit to ground at a certain oil pressure. The red indicator light and optional flasher are connected in series to the aircraft power system on one side and thru the low oil pressure sensor switch to ground on the other side.
A spring-loaded test switch is also wired in parallel with the sensor switch so the circuit and indicator light can be tested during the preflight inspection or during flight.
